Actors/Actresses: Paul Giamatti, Edward Norton, Jessica Biel, Rufus Sewell

The Movie:   'Illusionist' is the story of what a detective tells the Crown Prince Leopold (Sewell). The way it starts out is with the arrest of Eisenheim (Norton), who's a famous magicien, illusionist, anything to do with the unknown.

When Eiseheim was a young boy, the story goes, he met an old man by the side of the road. After that meeting, he seemed to have a strange new talent. He meets a Duchess (Biel) who's quite taken with him and his hobby.
As time goes on, the two of them fall in love, though this cannot be, as Eisenheim is simply a commoner. They play their escape, but it fails.
Fifteen years pass, and Eisenheim becomes a world famous illusionist. He makes his way back to Vienna, where he meets up with his old love, though she doesn't seem to remember him.
The movie after that is an amazing visual present, full of twists and turns. The effects are stunning, and the pictures are breathless. You don't know what's going to happen beyong each segment.
As the inspector goes through everything, you see how much two people can actually care about each other, and how blind we all are to what goes on around us.
Eiseheim only tries to do what he can for himself and his newfound love, whil everyone else wants him to simply perform magic tricks.
Norton, Biel, Sewell, and Giamatti are excellent actors, bringing this story out of the screen.

What I Thought: If I were to give this movie a rating (which I will!), it'd be 9.5/10. It was specactular! One of the best movies I have ever seen. The way everything happened, and the illusions that were prepared and executed, stunning.
I loved it. It was a mix between an adventure, a suspense, and a romance. The passion that's given off by the actors is enough for anyone to watch it over again.

There ya go all. FINALLY got to see the movie, and am SOOOOO glad that I did! I'm still working on writing reviews, but this one is DEFINATELY better than the one I wrote for 'Invincible'. That one was terrible and a half! lol:D\

Night all.

Here's my review on 'I, Robot'. I know that originaly this journal was for the thoughts of my characters, but I've decided that it'll be much more than that. It'll be what I think of movies, songs, books, and as was originally planned, some of my character talk.

So, here's 'I, Robot':

I just finished watching it today. I had started it a couple of days ago, and didn't have time to finish.

But, I loved it! The movie had a good plot, and the mystery surrounding the death was great. Will Smith did a great job of acting, the reason for his hating robots tangible. And, I liked Bridget Moynahan's character development, from a person who thinks that nothing can go wrong with what she's doing, to a person who starts to question, and try new things.

Alex Proyas, I thought, did a good job directing. The thing that I found disturbing is how nobody else thought that having the robots do everything was disturbing, and that they trusted everything completely to them. Then again, I suppose that us humans will do just about anything for something to obey us without question.

Yeah, probably a crappy review, but I'm just starting out. They'll get better, like everything else you try.
