This was such an adorable story and very in keeping with Father's Day!
Danny does have this awesomely tough swagger and good for Grace for realizing it.
This line: Steve's over because all of a sudden he think they're outside-of-work-friends or something made me laugh--who is Danny kidding? He loves it when Steve comes over :):)
